Very good food and generous portions! Always happy

We ordered Chicken Mango and Chicken Vandaloo for delivery at lunchtime today (for the first time). Outstanding! The naan bread was delicious too. Food came 1 hour after ordering, as agreed by phone. Papadam on the house crispy and tasty. I can highly recommend the dishes. The delivery man was very nice and polite. Gladly again: D

My wife and I order every week and are very satisfied every week. The Karahi Murgh is my absolute recommendation!

Unfortunately, unfriendly staff, the food was ok but not amazing, the atmosphere was uncomfortable. No hospitality noticeable, a shame!

We were there on Friday evening and absolutely satisfied. The food was delicious and the price was absolutely okay. Before the meal, there was the Indian waffles with dips on the house ... very tasty. Even if many write that the boss (blonde waitress) would be rude, I cannot confirm this. We were greeted warmly by her and also given very good advice on the choice of food. If we're in Würzburg again, we'll be happy to come back

Very good food! We were really excited

Were just there. Vegetarian menu for two, hammer hammer delicious. Especially the Gurudaal. The oh so angry blonde woman is the boss here, I guess, she gives the commands as you would in a kitchen. Service is excellent! Top price! Harmonious in taste and simply round.

We very often get takeaway food there and it's always delicious. The staff there are always friendly. The blonde lady who works there is a bit harsh at times, but I think everyone has a bad day. They didn't deserve the many bad reviews, so I wanted to write something positive now.

Delicious food, friendly service, pleasant atmosphere

The food was very good. The papadam with sauces on the house as a starter was good and very happy. The blonde waitress has a somewhat reserved charm, as you can often read here, but served us perfectly. Unfortunately only a baby chair is available. Since we were with 2 kids, it was a bit stupid.

Today we ordered something from Guru via Lieferando. It was an absolute cheek! Delivery took over 2.25 hours! Food was cold, salad was delivered wrong and it didn't taste good either! Absolutely no recommendation. Better spend your money somewhere else ....

Tasty Indian food including good variety of vegetarian dishes, especially the Paneer dishes.

The food was prepared very differently from other Indian restaurants and yet soo delicious. The preparations were hygienic tasty and was served well. Would definitely try again.

Very tasty Indian in Würzburg. Close to the mercure hotel. 2 minutes on foot. Very nice and attentive service. We recommend the lentil soup and the chicken chikken tarkari. Good value for money. To recommend.

Great food

Got the food to go. They treated the kids as they waited, friendly! Food was delicious! Lam Palak, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Vindaloo and nanny. Wonderful! Would eat here again!!

The best Indian restaurant in Wurzburg

Best Indian food in Würzburg! And I tried them all in the city. In the Guru Restaurant you usually first get papadam as an appetizer which is served with 3 sauces. All of the dishes I have tried so far were delicious. My favourite is Palak Paneer which was yum yum. You will also get more rice if you need extra. Overall a nice restaurant and highly recommended for Würzburg!

Decent Indian food, good food in reasonable portions. The food was very, very fast (10min). Priced OK. The service was not unfriendly, but not really friendly.

Good Indian food

At it was not (only) the service or the simple ambience, but primarily the food. Anyone who has been to India or visited a good Indian restaurant will be disappointed in the Guru on a broad front. The food is not nearly Indian. It tastes bland and lacks the typical Indian taste. I would even like to say that the cook is not from the region or is not a trained cook. Naan was boring and far too much garlic that was raw. The samosa much too big, mushy and not a bit crispy. Spices are missing. The Chicken Tikka very loveless, rather salted but not aromatic. The rice reminded me of Uncle Bence but not India. There was also no reaction from the operation, which has already been mentioned here often. You would want a discount or free coffee or something similar or even expect it. Conclusion: mass instead of class and not recommended.

Good Indian food

Food : Good Ambience : Very Good Service : Ok Staff : Ok On a very good colder afternoon we got to visit the Guru Indian restaurant, the ambience was really very nice, the service was quick and not as described by some reviewer's. The food was hot and tasted very good. The only bad experience was with the blonde lady who seemed very angry for no reason. The pricing also was decent enough. At the end we were given chocolates.

Called after 2,5hrs saying they would deliver in 10mins (at almost 11pm). Sorry, but this is just unacceptable service. Do not recommend.

The service was super slow even if was only me and my friends, then we find a used kleenex into the salad and a long black curly hair into the rice??, the quality of the food was horrible i think they just open the bag and put it into the microwave. Don't go eat there if you don't want to spend money for get a killer diarrea at night??

Has nothing to do with Indian Food ! Seems like the cook uses black pepper to substitute proper Indian spices. Rubbish

Its not the real indian food, but this is probably the best you can get in wüzburg. Go for lunch menu if you don't want to save some bucks
